It's honestly been the best birthday I have ever had! Every two seconds I would just get the biggest smile on my face because I would get a fun text wishing me a Happy Birthday!
It really made my day so exciting and fun! Brooke definitely wins the award for best picture of the day! I wish she could be here but she lives in Idaho! Also, my friend Bailey sent me "Happy birthday Shelby!" one letter at a time....yeah it's a very good thing I don't have a texting limit!
The fun "celebrating" pretty much started last night.....
We went to my Grammy's house and went caroling with all the cousins! It was fun! I absolutely just love and adore all of my cousins!! Cousins make the coolest of friends!!! And then we celebrated my birthday (cupcakes, gifts, the whole 9 yards....) BIG THANK YOU TO GRANDPA AND GRANDMA FOR MY MONEY AND KEY CHAIN!! AND TO THE HANCOCKS FOR MY LANYARD AND TO THE OTHER HANCOCKS FOR MY LOTION!!!! :)
So before school started today my dear friend Carly brought me flowers!! No one has ever gotten me flowers before so it was a pretty big deal to me!! I loved them!
We bought each other balloons and plus our friend Hannah got us each some balloons! Man it was tough going through doors today! And walking down the halls.... let's just say balloons don't like to be contained. But I loved getting balloons though! I kept wondering how everyone knew it was my birthday and then I would recover from my blond moment and realize I was carrying a herd of balloons saying Happy Sweet 16! hahaha! Then my fabulous Mommy took me and Holly to the mall to get Wetzel Pretzel Bits! I have been craving them all week! They are delicious!!! And then Holly bought me the cutest necklace ever!! It's a pocket watch but it's a necklace!! I love it!! It is a great addition to my collection of cool watches, even though it's not really a watch but it tells time. Then my wonderful neighbors came over and game me a super cute running out!! I finally have one that matches! :) Then for dinner my family went to Chick-Fil-A!
Then we came home and opened gifts!
I got the fanciest jewelry I have ever gotten! I got a super legit necklace from my parents!! It's a birthstone necklace and I'm going to keep it forever!! :) Sarah and Doug are amazing siblings and got me cool gift cards! Sarah got me a Jamba Juice one because they're my favorite and Doug got me one to QT because well I need gas money!! My other grandparents got me a cute white purse and bracelet!! And my "adopted" grandparents got me TWO cards with $$ in it! Not gonna lie they made me tear up a little because they are full of compliments and sweet thoughts!! THANKS FAMILY ♥ And then my friend Trevon dropped me off a super cute gift....
It's my name in blocks!! And it's my room colors!!! He ( his mom might of helped??) made it for me!! He is so stinkin' sweet!! It made that portion of my night!! Then I ended the night with my favorite ice cream cake...
